1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Cheqq websites, web apps, mobile apps, browser companion features, AI email addresses, Wapps, automations, APIs, and related services that link to this policy. It does not apply to third-party products or services that have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
- Account details such as name, email address, login credentials, profile settings, waitlist or onboarding responses, and support messages.
- Workspace content such as Wapps, workflows, collections, tables, files, prompts, chat messages, generated outputs, notes, tasks, and automation logs.
- AI email data such as inbound messages sent to Cheqq-managed addresses, sender and recipient information, message content, attachments, extracted fields, replies, and processing metadata.
- Connected-service data you authorize, such as email, calendar, browser, SaaS, payment, CRM, productivity, or other integration data needed for the Wapps you enable.
- Browser companion data, when installed or enabled, such as page URL, selected page content, tab context, and interaction signals needed to perform the action you request.
- Usage, device, and diagnostics data such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, feature usage, crash logs, and performance events.
- Payment and billing data, if you subscribe, such as plan, invoices, billing contact details, and payment status. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor.
3. How we use information
- Provide, operate, personalize, and improve Cheqq and your Wapps.
- Authenticate users, maintain sessions, secure accounts, and prevent abuse.
- Build, run, monitor, debug, repair, and explain AI-generated workflows and automations.
- Process inbound email, extract structured data, draft or send replies, schedule follow-ups, and update collections when you configure those actions.
- Connect to third-party services you authorize and perform actions you request.
- Provide support, send product notices, respond to requests, and communicate about account or billing matters.
- Analyze product performance, reliability, security, and usage trends.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.
4. AI processing
Cheqq uses AI to help you create Wapps, understand messages, extract data, draft replies, generate workflows, summarize information, debug automations, and perform tasks you request. Depending on the feature, relevant prompts, messages, files, workflow context, outputs, and metadata may be processed by Cheqq systems and by AI providers we use to deliver the service.
Do not submit information to Cheqq that you do not have the right to process or instruct Cheqq to process. You are responsible for configuring your Wapps and integrations in a way that matches your privacy, legal, and business obligations.
5. Email, integrations, and browser companion
If you use AI email, Cheqq processes messages sent to Cheqq-managed addresses and may extract fields, update collections, draft replies, send replies, schedule follow-ups, or trigger workflows based on your configuration.
If you connect third-party services or use the browser companion, Cheqq processes the information needed to complete the action you request. For example, a Wapp may read a calendar to schedule a meeting, inspect page content you invoke it on, or write a row to a collection you control.
6. How we share information
Service providers
Vendors that help us host, store, secure, analyze, communicate, process payments, deliver email, monitor errors, and operate Cheqq.
AI providers
Model providers may process prompts, content, files, workflow context, or other inputs needed to produce AI-assisted results.
Connected integrations
When you connect a third-party service, Cheqq may send or receive data with that service to perform the Wapp or automation you enabled.
Legal and safety
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, security, and service integrity.
Business transfers
If Cheqq is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising unless we provide appropriate notice and choices required by law.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Cheqq, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary based on the type of data, account status, product settings, and legal requirements.
You may delete certain content, disconnect integrations, or request account deletion. Some records may remain for a limited period in backups, logs, billing records, security systems, or where retention is required by law.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, and separation of duties where appropriate. No system is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials and connected services protected.
9. Your choices and rights
- Access, correct, export, or delete certain personal information.
- Disconnect integrations and revoke third-party access where supported.
- Delete Wapps, collections, files, messages, or account content from within the product where available.
- Opt out of non-essential marketing communications.
- Ask us to review, restrict, or remove information where required by applicable law.

10. Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure product usage, understand performance, improve Cheqq, and protect against abuse. You can control cookies through your browser, but some features may not work if required storage is disabled.
11. Children
Cheqq is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to Cheqq, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
12. International use
Cheqq may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.
13. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Cheqq changes. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
