How Cheqq compares, including where it loses.
Honest comparisons against Airtable, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, Lovable and more — including where each of them is still the better pick.
What are you comparing us to?
Most of these are tools we like, and several of them do one thing better than we do. Pick the one you are weighing.
Databases and bases
Structured records with a spreadsheet's manners. All four are good at holding data; the question each page answers is what happens after the records exist.
Spreadsheets
The tools every operation starts in, and should. These pages are about what to do when a sheet quietly became the system of record.
Automation
Moving work between systems, versus owning the records the work happens to. Both pages are honest about where connector breadth still wins.
AI app builders
They produce a codebase you own. Cheqq produces a running system with the data, the process and the permissions already attached.
AI agents
A general agent is measured by how good the answer is when it finishes. Cheqq is measured by what is still running a month later.
Work management
Organising the work a team has to do, versus building the function that does it.
How we write these comparisons
We name where they win
Every page has a section on when to stay where you are, and every comparison table has at least one row the other product wins. If nothing on a page favoured them, it would be an advert rather than a comparison.
Their capabilities, in their terms
We describe each product by what it set out to do, using its own documented capabilities — not a column of the word 'Limited'. Every tool here is one a lot of people are rightly happy with.
No quoted competitor pricing
Prices and plan limits change often enough that a comparison stating them is wrong within months. We compare capability and cost shape, and point you at their pricing page for the numbers.
Corrections welcome
These products ship fast and some of this will go stale. If something here misrepresents a tool you know well, tell us and we will fix it.
