A finance department that closes its own books.
Capture, categorise, reconcile, chase, report. Describe how money is supposed to move through your company and Cheqq builds the function that makes sure it does — and keeps doing it every month, unprompted.
Say it, and it exists
Each of these started as one sentence. Yours starts the same way.

Find what does not tie, before your accountant does.
Describe how your money is supposed to move and it checks that it did — matching payouts against the bank, flagging anything without a purchase order, and showing its working.
A runway model that is never out of date.
Not a spreadsheet someone rebuilds each quarter. It reads current revenue and spend, recalculates when either moves, and tells you when the number crosses a line you care about.
Escalation that gets firmer on its own.
Describe how you chase and it becomes a sequence: a gentle nudge, a firmer one, then it stops and puts the awkward call on your desk. Nobody has to remember which stage anyone is at.
A spend policy the system actually enforces.
Thresholds, named approvers, escalation when someone is away — written once and applied every time, instead of living in a document everyone agreed to and nobody re-reads.
Give the board a live link, not a monthly PDF.
The numbers move all month, so why does everyone read a snapshot? Publish a view that reads current records, shows only what you choose, and expires when you want it to.
Everything the books need, in one workspace
One set of records behind the ledger, the automations and the report — so nothing has to be reconciled between tools.

Questions from finance
Does it replace our accounting software?
No, and it should not try. Cheqq handles the part before the ledger — capturing, reading, categorising and chasing — then hands clean lines to whatever you file with.
How accurate is the reading of an invoice?
Good enough to save the typing, and built so you can check it. Every extracted value keeps its source, values you correct by hand are never overwritten, and you can require review before anything is treated as final.
Can I stop it from paying anything automatically?
Yes, and that is the default posture. Steps that move money can require a named approver, escalate to someone else if there is no answer, and record a decline as a normal outcome rather than an error.
Where does the data actually live?
In your own workspace, isolated from every other. You can export it as CSV or XLSX at any time, and published views only ever show the fields you list.
