Questions from operations

How is this different from Zapier or Make?

Those connect other people's tools to each other. Cheqq owns the data as well, so a process reads and writes its own records rather than shuttling rows between apps — and you build it by describing it, not by wiring a canvas.

What happens when a step fails?

You choose: stop, continue past it, or unwind the work already done with a compensation step. Every run keeps its full event history, and suspended runs can be resumed rather than restarted.

Can I see what a workflow will do before it runs?

Yes — that is the point of compiling it into steps. You can read the whole sequence on the canvas, test individual steps with mock inputs, and do a dry run before switching it on.

Does the whole team need accounts?

No. Collaborators get roles, but you can also publish a form or a status board as an app so people can submit and check things without a seat.
